Following the success of The Big Swing 2011 where 551 children descended on Canford Magna Golf Academy to take part in a Countywide Tri-Golf Festival, we have now released the date for The Big Swing 2012.

Canford Park will again host the event, where the target has been set to beat last year’s total of 551 Year 3/4 children from schools all across the county to take part in what will be another fantastic day for School Sport in Dorset.

The top 4 teams from this event will be eligible to take part in a county final in at the School Olympics day to coincide with the Olympic Torch arrival.

In the lead up to the event, PGA Professional Darren Stratman is available to organise taster sessions for Year 3/4 children to give them an introduction to the basics and chance to play a few of the 8 games that take place at The Big Swing.
